About US Materials Handling
Founded in 1956 by Robert A. and Erma D. Payne. For 70 years, we’ve helped businesses and industries of all sizes operate safer, smarter, and more efficiently. Built as a family business and now four generations strong, our company is grounded in experience, long-standing relationships, and deep understanding of real-world operations. We have grown from a small two-person office to a multi-million dollar, multi-location, full-line material handling distributorship.
We represent quality manufacturers with all our product lines and offer Systems Engineering, Turnkey Installations, Parts and Service. We also offer new, used and rental equipment as well as Fork Truck Safety Training. As the industry has evolved, so have we-combining decades of hands-on knowledge with modern material handling solutions designed to support growth, safety and long-term performance. One thing that has never-changed—our commitment to doing what’s right for our customers.
